AL SADEEM OBSERVATORY
Al Sadeem Observatory, located in Al Wathba South near Abu Dhabi, offers a unique stargazing experience for astronomy enthusiasts. Established in 2016, the observatory features a 5.5-meter, 360-degree rotational dome housing a Meade LX850 16-inch telescope, among other advanced equipment.
Visitors can participate in guided tours that include an introduction to astronomy, celestial observations through traditional and smart telescopes, and an immersive experience with the Cosmic Cube exhibit. The observatory also provides opportunities for astrophotography using state-of-the-art Vaonis products.
Tours are available by appointment from Tuesday to Sunday, with start times varying by season—7:00 PM onwards in winter and 8:00 PM onwards in summer. It’s recommended to book in advance, as walk-ins are not accepted.
AL QUAA MILKY WAY SPOT
